Hello!
This is Gemma, an architectural designer and ux/ui and product designer from Barcelona
Passionate about design, I studied architecture in my hometown, Barcelona, and then took a masters in generative architecture and environment in Grenoble, France.
I worked for around 5 years in architecture, a little bit all over (mostly in London but also in New Orleans, Barcelona and Freiburg-im-Breisgau), while always trying new things, self-teaching myself, like CGI and rendering.
but also ux/ui and product design
Architecture actually gave me very valuable insights for ux/ui, since I always worked mainly in the early stages of the project – like user research and testing skills (we call them different things though!), costumer journeys, produce functional user centered designs, hand sketching, composition, expertise in the Adobe package (we need them every day of our lives), meeting tight deadlines and work under pressure, and many more things.
